This project is born from in-depth research into ancestral weaving techniques and their relationship to sustainability in fashion. Inspired by the history of Colombian women weavers and the artisanal legacy they pass down from generation to generation, a speculative scenario was proposed, set in the year 2046. In this future, environmental collapse has led to a radical transformation of the textile industry, where craftsmanship becomes the primary tool of resistance and cultural reconstruction. It explores a universe where fabrics are not only sustainable but also intelligent, capable of responding to the environment, storing memories and emotions, and communicating with the human body. Weavers are social and cultural leaders, guided by technology but without losing their connection to the land and their lineage. This scenario imagines a new paradigm in fashion: a balance between and technology where threads are vehicles of history, emotion, and regeneration.
