Colombia in recent Governments has generated an important confidence among foreign investors, which has become almost a State policy that has increased signnificantly and notoriously the participation of those people who make foreign direct investment and portfolio investment, being relevant players in the local financial market. These changes have come not only to institutional investors, but tadditionally has rightly contributed to increasethe participation of individuals in the market. These advances made it possible the integration of first stock market in Latin America called "The Latin America Integrated Market MILA", in this way the Bolsa de Valores de Colombia is became a pioneer in this aspect together with the markets of Chile and Peru, seeking a greater visibility in such important international markets in the region such as Brazil and Mexico. Since 2008, began this process with the signing of an understanding agreement, achieving the integration of the three markets with their respective bags, regulations and operations, that its development would be nothing easy. However, the goodwill of the Governments and the provision of regulatory authorities, allowed the integration without compromising the monitoring and operating controls of each country, and allowed to start operations in May 2011. Colombia within the integration has generated a greater international visibility, achieving that foreign investors see our country as a safe bet and with high expectations of growth and development, addition has been the country with greater advantages and benefits to investors.
