Resumen
The present investigation is carried out in New Generation Educational Institution in Bello city and Fe y Alegría Granizal in Medellín city. The purpose is to identify the existing relationships between the conceptions of educational quality and the teachers classroom practices in both Institutions, for this, it is described the conceptions of quality that they have and their classroom practices are characterized. The methodology used was a qualitative approach of hermeneutical perspective. In this research it is possible to demonstrate the lack of theoretical support of teachers, education secretariats and the MEN regarding the concept of quality, furthermore, it is identified that their conception influences the development of their classroom practices. Finally, there are a series of proposals that seek to reflect about the possible solution of some of the findings found in both institutions.
