Propuesta basada en valores para el fortalecimiento de las competencias ciudadanas en los jóvenes de la Parroquia Nuestra Señora de la Candelaria en el Municipio de Bagadó, durante el primer semestre del año 2022

Abstract

Citizenship competencies are the set of knowledge and skills of the individual that favor social coexistence. Such competencies are strengthened through a set of values such as solidarity, respect, tolerance, trust, communication, responsibility, among others. This research was oriented to propose a strategy based on values to strengthen the citizenship competencies of the young people of the Shaday youth group of the Nuestra Señora de la Candelaria Parish (Municipality of Bagadó, Colombia) during the first semester of the year 2022. This objective was approached through the bases of qualitative research, which allowed understanding the perceptions and experiences of 12 young members of the Shaday group on citizenship competencies, values and anti-values of the young people of the municipality. Finally, the conclusions of the research reaffirm the need to strengthen the citizenship competencies of the young people of Bagados through the development and formation in values, which is promoted through education, family coexistence, as well as cultural and sports activities in which the society in general participates.
