The New evangelization implies the challenge of adopting the digital convergence model as an option, and whose function resides on the digital mediums, convergent mediums and the social links. The objective of this investigation resides on the construction of the digital convergence model as an option for evangelization, in the case of the Consolata missionaries. This investigation poses the question of how to articulate the strategies of the new evangelization in the digital convergence model, as an option for the Consolata Missionaries’ community. The investigation applies the hermeneutic method, and also it uses the qualitative methodology, whose techniques for the compilation and verifying of the information is based on the secondary sources ascertained through the bibliographical sources, the specialized databases, and semi-structured interviews, organised by the selection focus group of six persons as representatives of the Consolata Missionaries and the evangelized people. The principle findings of this investigation show the implications and the benefits that the digital convergence model has, conveying the strategies of communication. The investigation concludes by showing the importance of using the digital convergence model as an option to create alternatives within the social communications between the emitters and the recipients, and mong all, in the new evangelization from the communication point of view, using the digital mediums, convergent mediums and the social interactions.
