Estudio de prefactibilidad para la implementación de una escombrera de residuos sólidos generados en obras civiles del Área Metropolitana del Valle de Aburrá

Abstract

In this feasibility study, we review some of the historical background of the municipality of Medellin and the metropolitan area, which were define by poor disposal of solid waste from civil works, according with stipulated regulations and the Territorial Plan on each municipality. From this information, we made the diagnosis of three (3) tailings, currently in operation, looking to allow the implementation of a heap of solid waste generated in Girardota town. Additionally, a law firm included among others, environmental standards on the disposal of solid waste. They also developed a technical study for the assembly of a tip as required by regulators. The debris management has a complete legal foundation, although insufficient, given the context of unlawful that prevails in Medellin and the Metropolitan Area, this is why it should not be overlooked, also because it is a problem that can be answered accurately and efficiently with a complete service based on legal guidelines, according with the potential petition of future customers for debris collection service and disposal.
