Abstract

This grade project pretends to collect and research documents about Concessionaire System in Colombia. By means of a detailed manual or tutorial of legal, financial and technical procedures, of this type of contract. Similarly, it has an emphasis in the new concession model, called Public Private Partnerships (PPPs). Colombia, as a country in the process of development, seeks to improve its physical infrastructure and road network, thereby satisfying social and economic needs, requiring large amounts of capital. The Concessionaire System has been traditionally used in Colombia, after changing regulations and certain legal, financial and technical topics, the Fourth Generation concession were created, having a more generic title of Public Private Partnerships (PPPs). In this fourth generation, the project must be shown as viable for development, so it takes previous studies needed, and the financial and risk allocation fundamental pillars of this new model. Under the PPP model can execute infrastructure projects, like hospitals, transportation terminals, airports, government buildings or road infrastructure. The PPP project model, have many tools that enable the development and growth of any country that implements it, so it becomes a topical issue that need to know, in this project is described in a punctuated components and processes of a Project under the PPP model.
