Today many companies focus their efforts on the checkbook customer generating this a smokescreen into the company that makes the costs being neglected, he lives with activities that do not add value and causes major problems are unknown quality affecting customer. This is the case of the metalworking company under investigation, which had been coping with high levels of inventory, rework, quality problems, lack of responsibility of staff, and other situations that were left vulnerable to competition. This was the reason that inspired this research in order to validate a continuous improvement methodology to identify, analyze, propose, evaluate and reduce non-quality costs and their implications, in an orderly, rigorous and disciplined manner. After the implementation of the action plan results they were immediate and the company improved its customer service without incurring excess inventory, as decreased its cost overruns production, which were generated largely by quality problems. But most significant is that assimilated this methodology is an ongoing process that can not stop and that all staff of the company must be involved.
