Resumen
The report ¡Basta Ya! of the Historical Memory Center, published in 2013, indicates that between 1958 and 2012 the conflict caused the death of 40,787 combatants and 177,307 civilians. The number of disappeared between 1981 and 2010 was 25,000, the number of kidnapped 27,023 and the number of murders 150,000. Of this last figure, 38.4 percent was the responsibility of the paramilitaries, 16.8 percent of the guerrillas and 10.1 percent of the Public Force (Historical C. d., 2013). Along the same lines, the 2015 yearbook of peace processes from the School for a Culture of Peace points out that in 40 years of internal conflict there were 39,000 Colombians who were victims of kidnapping, with an impunity rate of 92 percent. 37 percent of the kidnappings were attributed to the FARC-EP and 30 percent to the ELN. The yearbook reports that according to the Uppsala Conflict Data Program (UCDP), there are a mínimum of 1,000 combat-related deaths per year. On the other hand, the UNHCR organization maintains that since 1997 there have been 3.9 million forced displacements in Colombia (UNHCR, 2013). The majority of civil society has been affected by the armed conflict and has been protesting for many years against the violence perpetrated by all those involved in the conflict.
