"This research project of the Master of Education at the University of Medellin, ""IMAGINE, EXPRESS AND CREATE. Creative writing as a classroom experience to strengthen reflective thinking in primary school children ""; is a proposal born of the need to present the writing in the classroom as an act capable of strengthening the reflexive and critical thinking of the students, the writing in the classroom must be generating interaction experiences that allow the students to visualize themselves through the word, connect with their reality and with the reality of others and that together achieve the citizen's exercise of participating through their voice in the different processes and activities in which their ideas and their sensations are required. The project aimed to strengthen the development of reflective thinking through creative writing in students of four educational institutions in the department of Antioquia; as a purpose of this investigation, a route was drawn up to make the trip that should allow an exchange of stories, emotions, events that generate in the students the need to imagine, to create and express so that such moments lead them to a liberating writing, which besides allowing the transformation of their ideas into creative acts, it also allows them moments of reflection that are evidenced in a writing crossed by the autonomy, the enjoyment and the contrasted reflection of their experiences and learning. Allowing the student to reflect and express everything that lives in its context, allows him to consciously take ownership of it, develop a strong sense of belonging and recognize himself as a social subject."
