El gasto en salud y su relación con el ingreso, la escolaridad y el tipo de afiliación al sistema general de seguridad social: evidencia para el departamento de Risaralda

Abstract

This text mainly aims at explaining how Health spending is related to the income, to the education level and to the type of affiliation people have within the general system of health social security in the Department of Risaralda. A review of literature is carried out as a conceptual theoretical basis; and the article hypothetically expounds the tight relationships between health, education level, and income. In order to validate such a hypothesis, an econometrical model is estimated, wherein it validates the relationships between health spending, the level of education and the incomes in the Department of Risaralda.
