Resumen
The Micropyme in Colombia represent 90% of all companies and generate 60% of employment in Colombia, they even contribute 35% of PIB and approximately 50% of these are located in the commerce sector, however, many of these companies, 4 out of 10, fail at an early age due to the informalism and empiricism with which they are managed. It is for this reason that building a commercial methodological guide that serves as an administrative tool for the Micropyme of the commerce sector of the city of Medellín, becomes a support formula for strengthening the competitive strategy of these companies. The importance of this research lies in the fact that, without departing from the reality of this type of commercial business, administrative tools are being provided on the fronts of planning, organization, management and control, with which entrepreneurs or directors can carry out a better commercial management, make better decisions and maintain sustainability in the market. Among the results obtained, it is concluded that the empirical knowledge per se of the directors or owners of this type of business in the trade sector is not absolutely bad, but if it is indisputable and necessary, it should be complemented with administrative technical concepts, since the entrepreneur only conceives commercial management in a very basic notion of investment versus profit and this does not guarantee competitiveness and sustainability in the market. Given the plurality of these trade businesses, since there are many products that they house, the guide is built on a close methodology and in a friendly language, so that it can be understood by any businessman or director of these companies.
