The intention of this investigation was directed towards the compilation, the analysis and the interpretation of the documentary production referring to the European System of Transference and Accumulation of Credits, through rise of a state-of-the-art, with the purpose of contributing to a proposal to a research work macro that is carried out in the University of Medellín. This way, the documentary investigation was chosen in order to delimit, to classify, to analyze, to interpret and to reflect on the accumulated knowledge in libraries, the documentary Web, centers, data bases, personal archives, among others, getting to identify some tendencies that emerged from the dynamics of the Superior Education in Colombia. The dynamics represented in data, signs and symbols happened through a process of systematization, analysis and categorization that had like result three thematic axes: the one of Context, this axis was characterized by the institutions of superior education among them the universities and the projects to create an European Space of Superior Education, that come advanced for the involvement of the objectives of the European Union; the one of Strategies, which were glimpsed in programs, plans and projects that were implemented (like the project 6x4 and the Tuning methodology Latin America Alpha) and that formed like strategies of diffusion, recognition, diagnosis and implementation of a common system of credits, that approached the European System of transference and accumulation of credits through a system of diverse similarities; and the thematic axis denominated Effects and Emergencies that were distinguished in the change of the roll of the educational one and the institutional representation, in relation to the culture and the society. Thus, with state-of-the-art hopes that these results and products are favorable for other investigators that wishes to ventury by ample subject of education superior and dynamics of System European of transference and accumulation of credits in Colombia, since this state-of-the-art was constituted like a cartography, that when containing different planes from reading, will allow that the interested ones can, of a focused way, to rediscover new routes of interpretation and reflection about these subjects.
