Esta investigación busca analizar cómo se representó a la mujer en el cine documental colombiano en cuanto a estereotipos machistas y a la perspectiva de género, a partir de los documentales Jericó (2016), Señorita María (2017) y La mujer de los 7 nombres (2018). Para lograrlo, se utilizó una metodología mixta con alcance descriptivo, aplicando matrices de análisis que reunieron datos cualitativos y cuantitativos de cada película. Los resultados determinaron que hubo una representación positiva, diversa y respetuosa de la mujer en estos documentales, pero que se necesitan explorar más historias de mujeres con roles sociales diferentes a los del hogar.
This investigation seeks to analyze how women were represented in Colombian documentary cinema regarding sexist stereotypes and gender perspective through the documentaries Jericó (2016), Miss Maria (2017) and The woman of the 7 names (2018). In order to do this, this project applied a mixed methodology with a descriptive reach; thus, analysis charts were used, including qualitative and quantitative data from each film. The results determined that there was a positive, diverse and respectful representation of women in these documentaries, but that it’s necessary to explore more stories of women with roles in society different from the ones related to the house.
