Conocimiento de las administraciones de los municipios del Valle de Aburrá sobre las asociaciones público privadas

Abstract

This degree work is a monograph that focuses on identifying the knowledge of the municipalities administrations of the Valle de Aburra about the public private partnership PPPs, which are an alternative for the implementation of local public works projects. A review of relevant literature was made about: concept, definition, origin of PPP, dynamics in Colombia and in seven of the ten municipalities of the Valle de Aburra in Antioquia. Each subject was referenced in general but looking for a direct or indirect relationship with the subject under study, so that it could understand clearly and to correlate them and achieve the goals set. A staff member associated with the projects a survey was made about twenty questions to know three basic aspects: general budget of the municipality, some features of the three most important local projects and specific knowledge and application of PPPs . in addition, local, national and foreign experts were interviewed about nine specific questions about the importance and risks of such associations, and then to relate the issues under study. By analyzing the results, you can see which is the knowledge of government officials and expert on each question, graphical illustrations and tables showing the most significant aspects were made. This will make it possible conclusions. This monograph is intended as a study that can be used to perform other related topic studies, the APP only have two years of formal uses in Colombia , and is known to have been used to develop projects of social and productive infrastructure in many countries of the world helping to improve the quality of life of its inhabitants.
