Currently the work environment is causing profound and rapid changes increasingly greater competitiveness of enterprises, new developments and technological developments, increased knowledge of the demands of job, etc. These experienced at work, sometimes changes represent improvements and advancements but in others, cause the appearance of a number of conditions that lead to risks that affect both the mental health and well-being of the person. These conditions typically identified as psychosocial factors make regarding those aspects that are present in a work situation, such as climate or organizational culture, job content or performing the task of the worker as to the development of their work, style of leadership, family situations , among others. The psychosocial risk factor causes absenteeism for illness, accidents and occupational diseases, disrupting productivity, service delivery, also generates high costs and changes in the quality of life of workers. This definitely shows the importance of diagnosis and intervention of psychosocial risk, which goes beyond the fulfillment of the legal requirement referred to in resolution 2646 of 2008, for what should interest business executives, heads and responsible for human management through its area of Occupational Health, is being and physical and mental health of individuals, bearing in mind that this will bring an adequate performance and productivity to the company.
