Resumen
This research starts with themes that include some aspects, such as: definition of the problem and background, which show the evolution of the hotel sector through the time, as well it indicates how the hotel sector in Bahía Solano municipality is nowadays; we describe and state the problematic situation. In this chapter, we set the general and subsidiary objectives, and also the methodology, focusing on the type of research, which is a descriptive study. We specify the theoretical aspects that determine quality in the hotel sector. In this sense, we speak about quality of services, by stating that quality is a group of basic tools with properties that are inherent to an object or something, which provide capacity to satisfy implicit and explicit needs for always getting outcomes. The second concept deals with Competence, since having quality requires being competent, and vice versa, because of that, competence is understood as the capacity that organizations have of producing goods and services efficiently, with decreasing costs and increasing quality, making its product or service be attractive inside and outside the country. The proposal that our research team is providing to the hotel sector in Bahía Solano municipality is aimed to get meaningful solutions, in order to improve the administrative processes and, in fact, the quality of this sector, basing all of this on the different findings of the researchers. To close, we make the conclusions.
