This Project was done with the optimize reading comprehesion literal level in the students first grade though aplication of homeworks with multimodal texts, in the primary school Normal Superior La Inmaculada of the Italia municipality San José del Palmar, Chocó. During the development of this Project it did several homewors which designs some sequences didactic with histories and songs in video, book album in digital way and print, show drawing and poster. In this Project worked action researching with culalitative focusing, starting of a documental research, it did a pretest, several homeworks and a postext, like tecnigues, to collect information and like instruments to register advance or difficuits in the students, it use the date table and the daily notebook. Working multimodal texts like strategy to optimize readign comprehesion literal level, allowed to the students near to differents textual typologies in several soports and formats development of skills to undertand texts to predict themes and identify explicit information fomenting the interest to reading different texts.
