Employee retention is an important part of efforts in the area of human resources and the organization in general, since the disengagement represents costs and hurt of the image organizational. Thus, as the study and analysis of employee retention it has become part of organizational management. With this research we sought to analyze the causes that affect the turnover in the company providing services of Holcim Group, Holcrest S.A.S., located in Medellin, analysis started from the data supplied by the organization, which were obtained through a survey of active employees; this in order for the organization to know what are the points that need more attention and thus establish strategies to reduce employee turnover. Based on this survey, a quantitative descriptive study was performed. The results show that the causes that affect the turnover are: salaries, career opportunities, recognition, cooperation between areas, work-life balance and innovation. These become the points to be considered by the organization to make decisions that help minimize such rotation causes mentioned.
