Engineering firms are called to lead the development of Infrastructure in Colombia and South America, as a base to facilitate development and poverty reduction. That is why an approach is fundamental and effective modern management, enabling them to significantly strengthen its processes and services, based on appropriate organizational structures to the demands of today's challenges. This first involves a redefinition of the organization in such a way that responds directly to map processes and the requirements of the Quality Management models ISO 9000, including levels and titles such as Top Management, Representative Executive Officer, Quality Coordinator, Quality Committees, leaders and facilitators processes. Then they must define their authorities and responsibilities so as to respond to new approaches to management, so as to generate an active participation of all staff and promote leadership within the organization. This is a balanced assign levels of authority and responsibility for each of the charges set forth in the plan, because in order to fulfill the responsibilities must have the required authorities. Finally set the profiles for each position must be able to assume the responsibility and authority effectively, for it determines the level of education, experience, skills and experience required. This serves as a basis for a staff seeking reselection by the proposed tools to identify gaps in order to develop an improvement plan that allows motivate and engage each of the positions of the organization in compliance with activities and dates established.
