In this report, is analyzed the impact of the application of a multimodal didactic sequence on the appropriation and understanding of 10th grade students on the classification of inorganic acids. This study is based on a bibliographic compilation on the basic competences stipulated in the guidelines of the national education ministry, on the concepts of collaborative learning since the students share daily in the classrooms and spaces destined for the learning, which allows the exchange, the construction and transformation of true meaningful learning. In addition, is based on multimodal communication since it acquires an important relevance in the classroom, because that is where the greatest exchange of words, gestures, postures, diagrams, illustrations, etc. occurs in relation to a specific object of communication. Study between the teacher and his students. With the research, the use of the competence of comprehensive use of scientific knowledge in students of the vocational average is analyzed and a multimodal didactic sequence is implemented for it's strengthening, allowing the students to make a comprehensive analysis of their environment and understand diverse phenomena that impact the nature and, in general, the world that surrounds them.
