Resumen
The present investigation approaches the mathematical object notion of Average, through the study of cases of Stake (2010), with the intention of propitiate in the students its Resignification, from its different Uses, from a Socioepistemology approach. This approach was formulated from several representations that obey the historical-epistemological development of the notion of Arithmetic Average: typical value, representative value, point of balance and fair distribution; they coexisted as well as the current notion and they were presented to students from more recent epistemological approaches; until reaching the most primitive, and vice versa; This circumstance made it possible to capture in a document some of the significant or interpretative difficulties present when resolving the activities of the context raised through problem situations where the actors of the investigation had to account for the Uses of the mathematical object that involve the notion of Arithmetical average in light of epistemological approaches.
