"EXECUTIVE MANAGEMENT COACHING PROGRAM FOR BANCO COLPATRIA WEST CENTRAL" has, as its main principle a theoretical interest since it aims for reflecting on coaching, management skills and the development of performance skills. As a complementary purpose, it seeks to design a proposal about Coaching within a specific context, allowing implementation of the theoretical principles described above. In this way the proposal about coaching was designed thinking of Banco Colpatria, in response to the institutional interest in improving the performance of the staff. Due to the fact that most of the responsibility for achieving this goal falls on operational managers, we seek to improve - with this theoretical and practical initiative- their job performance. We thus would respond not only to the mission objective, but also to market needs and competitiveness standards from the field. Coaching is an administrative tool that allows –in short time and by training- to transform the performance of work teams and align them with the organizational objectives. In order to achieve this goal, we must begin with an individual assessment of each of the chief operating officer’s performance. This way we will identify strengths and weaknesses, which will generate a performance improvement plan, both individual and in work team. Thus the levels of efficiency and productivity in offices will improve. Finally this work allows us to identify the most appropriate strategies and tools for generating the initial evaluation, and build a suitable intervention plan.
