Resumen
The educational community of the Escuela Normal Superior de Quibdó, in its commitment to train its students integrally, is governed by an institutional educational project -PEI collectively built that has historically responded to the requirements of the Chocoano context preparing teachers of high professional level and recognized qualities of leadership in the communities; Today, the institution is faced with the challenge of strengthening the formation for peace and the construction of citizenship in its territory from its daily work. It is a task derived from the commitment of everyone to realize that yearning for a quiet and productive life in the post-conflict era in Colombia. This research explores the way in which this task is being carried out, from the training of the students, the approach with which the academic activities are addressed by the teachers, to the adjustments made or to be done to the PEI. Thus, the research recognizes the progress made and discovers the components to be strengthened, which becomes inescapable commitments that range from the incorporation of new inclusive and intercultural discourses and practices, to the optimization of the forms of interaction with the neighborhood community, which allow La Normal, to continue to be the focus of high quality training, trainers and protagonists in the achievement of territorial peace and citizenship formation.
