Contextualization: This article addresses the emerging phenomenon of the "Algorithm Judge" in the context of digitization and automation. Technology, especially artificial intelligence (AI), raises the possibility that judicial decisions can be made by algorithms. Objectives: The general objective is to examine the intersection between the implementation of digital justice and the protection of constitutional rights, especially in the context of the pandemic. Method: The methodology used is qualitative, seeking a deep understanding of the "Algorithm Judge" and its complexities. The information collection technique is based on documentary review, with a careful focus on sources related to the use of algorithms in judicial decisions and their consequences on constitutional rights. Results: Endowing algorithms with value and gaining a deeper understanding of algorithmic justice and its influence on the judicial system can help ensure greater agility in decision-making. This implies the need for policies and regulations to be developed in response to the use of algorithms in the judicial process, which protect citizens' fundamental rights and ensure transparency and accountability. © 2025 Elsevier B.V., All rights reserved.
