A través del presente trabajo se analizan las condiciones actuales de las competencias tecnológicas en los estudiantes de la Universidad de Medellín, dado la importancia para el mejoramiento de la calidad en los programas de pregrado y su carácter transversal en el modelo pedagógico. Los resultados de los análisis realizados confirman la necesidad de que las directrices de la Universidad tomen decisiones que ayuden a resolver la problemática. Además de analizar las condiciones en competencias tecnológicas, se presenta una propuesta que permita dinamizar la proyección académica encaminada hacia el mejoramiento continuo y el fortalecimiento del vínculo empresa e instituciones de educación superior.
Through this work the current conditions of technological competence in the students of the University of Medellín, given the importance to improve the quality of undergraduate programs and their cross-cutting in the pedagogical model. The results of the analysis confirm the need for the guidelines of the University to make decisions that help solve the problem. In addition to analyzing the conditions in technological skills, there is a proposal of policies and strategies in the use of computer tools to spur academic projection directed toward continuous improvement.
