This is a financial consulting in order to obtain the title of Specialist in Financial Management. The description of sound financial management in a non-profit foundation, seeks to provide managers of these entities with a tool enabling them to ascertain the financial management within them, and make better decisions regarding the management of monetary resources. The structure shows the general and specific concepts on nonprofit foundations, likewise those related to financial management in terms of liquidity, debt and profitability, which should be considered for conducting a financial analysis in an entity of this kind. Following analysis of the concepts and applied in a case study of financial management in the Foundation expects to complete and recommend, about the importance of carrying out efficient financial management in these institutions as it seeks to maximize resources to reinvest in operation and ensure its permanence in time.
