Resumen
The objective of this investigation is to identify the status of the evaluation practices Implemented by the secondary school teachers of La Independencia High School of Medellin and to establish a relationship between the evaluation processes proposed by the Institutional System of Educational Evaluation (SIEE) and the process developed by teachers in the classroom. Reflections are generated that allow us to propose alternatives that transform the school from the evaluative processes. As information collection instruments, two surveys were applied to both students and teachers. This allowed us to analyze their experiences and show the status of the evaluation in the institution in relation to what is stipulated in the SIEE. It is concluded that there is no coherence between what is stipulated by the SIEE and the classroom practices of teachers of the La Independence High School, at least, from the perspective of students and teachers.
