dc.description.abstractThis article describes the real application of information and communication technologies (ICT) into the companies, all of this analyzing some of the most used ICT in the different international trade negotiation phases. Therefore it was carried out a field study in 380 Colombian firms dedicated to import and/or export goods and services. The results shows that the most used ICT for the international trade negotiation phases are the email and the phone, and also it is found that ICT contribute to build rapport, conduct business successfully, support the decision making process and generate negotiation alternatives.eng
