Today it is unthinkable be competitive if there is no sense of responsibility with stakeholders simply because companies fail to be sustainable over time. These are the stakeholders: society, employees, suppliers, shareholders and the environment. Social responsibility involves all levels of society. In Colombia we have huge challenges, but to take important steps around these challenges, it is necessary to transcend social and environmental responsibility to the citizens. We must join private efforts for the society to really have social sensitivity that social responsibility is an issue that we care for all and we cannotleave it exclusively to big companies. Hence the development of this project, because we want to establish whether CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) is a real commitment or simply a model that some companies adopt with parallel purposes.
