Resumen

The article aims to assess the regulative dimension efficiency on international entrepreneurship from an institutional framework. Data are obtained from the Global Entrepreneurship Monitor (GEM) considering a cross-national sample of Latin American emerging economies versus developed economies. Findings show Latin American emerging economy conditions in public policy regulations have a lower influence on international entrepreneurial activity. The study provides information about the institutional regulative factors influencing this entrepreneurial activity. The research could be useful to foster international entrepreneurship policies. © 2017.
