La androginia es cada vez más evidente, especialmente en los jóvenes de hoy. Las diferencias extremadamente marcadas en otras épocas entre los dos sexos tienden a desaparecer dando lugar a lo uni-sexo, a la identificación de roles y a la creación de parámetros que originan una nueva concepción del hombre y de la mujer ante el mundo y ante su existencia. Ser andrógino tiene ventajas y desventajas, pero seguramente son muchas más las primeras que las segundas. La androginia aparece a principios de los años sesenta como una idea fascinante e innovadora para las ciencias humanas. Su estudio se circunscribe en los círculos científicos y académicos de la época. Es a finales del siglo veinte y principios del nuevo milenio que los movimientos sexistas, los grupos de artistas y los círculos de estudios de género se afianzan dando origen a un movimiento que involucra directamente a los habitantes del mundo en una tendencia que se constituye en característica fundamental del nuevo milenio.
Androgyny is increasingly evident, especially in today's youth. The extremely marked differences in the past between the two sexes tend to disappear, giving rise to what unisex, identification of roles and the establishment of parameters to generate a new conception of man and woman in the world and to their existence . Being androgynous has advantages and disadvantages, but many more are surely the first to second. Androgyny appears in the early sixties as an exciting and innovative idea for the human sciences. Their study is limited in the scientific and academic communities of the time. At the end of the twentieth century and the beginning of the new millennium that the sexist movement, groups of artists and the gender studies will be strengthened by giving birth to a movement that involves directly to the people of the world in a trend that has turned into feature critical of the new millennium.
