Resumen
Based on the review of various publications between 2005 and 2020, obtained from different databases, it was decided to investigate the current situation of treatment of child sexual abuse (CSA) by professionals who are experts in working with minors in a situation of vulnerability, and a survey was considered a good instrument. The objective of this research is to investigate the type of judicial treatment based on the application of action protocols in Argentina, during the process initiated with the crime report. The first data investigated account for the characteristics of the expert professionals surveyed, the number of victims of CSA whom they have intervened with, the type of abuse and the particularities of the children and adolescent victims, as well as the identity of the complainant and the type of complaint; the time and type of intervention; and the type of examinations to which the victims were exposed. As a result, information was obtained on the disciplines and time of professional practice, the prevailing age ranges of the victims at the time of the complaint, and the predominant type of medical forensic investigations, among other data.
