Aplicación de las cubiertas verdes en el medio local como solución al déficit de zonas verdes en Medellín

Abstract

From the law 388 of 1997, which promotes land use plans P.O.T for cities of Colombia and after a decade of following a course set by social search, urban and ecological in this case; Medellin, the Department metropolitan Aburrá Valley-AMVA-in its capacity as advisor and coordinator of regional planning, formulated a plan director with order to generate guidelines in planning the metropolitan area over the next 20 years. In the study developed by various academic, governmental and private company consulting for master plan, several problems were evident, including the lack of public green spaces in the city, and all that this implies in the steady growth of the city. To this end, this article reflection looking through green roofs, deepen and evaluate the implementation of this construction system as a possible solution in contributing to this environmental problem that is showing in the Metropolitan Area.
