Resumen
This theoretical reflection article offers an approach to the phenomenon of humanmachine love from an interpretative perspective. The document has two aims: on one hand, to problematize the concept of "love" used by scientists in the field to think about this bond; on the other hand, to inquire into the existence of specificities in affective relationships between people and robots. To do this, we follow a qualitative method, primarily involving a traditional literature review of theoretical texts related to the topic and the analysis of Lovotics, a well-documented affective computing experiment from theoretical sources. The main conclusion is that we need to reexamine what we understand by “love,” as well as to redefine our bonds with non-human entities.
