Abstract

This investigation discusses the topic of labor mobility of university graduates in engineering careers which are related to information and technology in the cities of Bogotá and Medellín; the information of this study will be of great relevance for technology companies and companies related to the selection of personnel and human resources at a national and international level. The main objective of this research is to identify the tendencies of labor mobility of the university graduates in engineering careers which are related to information and technology in the cities of Bogotá and Medellín and the determining factors. Among some of the aspects that this research discusses is the analysis of the predisposition to mobility and the most common mobility strategies; additionally, the most influential factors that the university graduates have when they make the decision to commute are defined in this research.
