Experimentación cualitativa como propuesta para el fortalecimiento de los procesos argumentativos y la construcción de conocimiento científico escolar en básica primaria

"This research was carried out to analyze how a teaching sequence based on a qualitative experimentation (guided and exploratory) influences on the argumentative processes. This research was set within the qualitative methodology, using as a perspective the intrinsic case of study with an interpretative approach. For the conceptual framework, some elements were organized and studied in three pillars: argumentation, philosophy of the experimental practices and the scientific skills in the scholar stage. To understand the case, a group of six students with cognitive and linguistic skills of the ""Institución Educativa Alfonso Upegui Orozco"" from Medellín city were selected. Their productions were studied through the discourse analysis and also were discriminated on the basis of two macro categories, on the one hand, argumentation and on the other hand, the social construction of knowledge. The analyses carried out made it possible to identify how the proposal had a positive influence on the argumentative processes, as well as making explicit the prevailing need of social collectives for the production of knowledge."
