Bullying is a problem that afflicts the global workforce and is one of the main psychosocial risks at work, it not only affects the productivity of workers, but also has a strong impact on their mental health. In Colombia the 1010 Law 2006 was enacted in order to combat this scourge, however, the effectiveness of this law and the resolutions issued by the Ministry of Labour to create Coexistence Labor Committees questioned; bullying, remains one of the main problems that employees living in Colombia, a situation that is not employed in the municipal administration of Itagui. Given this problem, the question that guided this research was: Does it generate credibility and trust Labor Committee Coexistence between officials of the Municipal Administration of Itagui against solving the problems related to bullying? The results from a survey of 254 officials and an interview with members of the Committee on Labor Coexistence (CCL), to conclude that the CCL of the Municipal Administration of Itagui, has flaws in management being done and that there a climate of distrust and lack of credibility to the committee, all of which ultimately translates into Law 1010 2006 instrumental lose effectiveness in preventing bullying in Itagui municipal administration.
