Resumen

The present master thesis presents a research process, which was carried out with students from third grade of primary school in two educational institutions of the city of Medellin. This research focused on the strengthening of inferential reading through multimodal texts, linking the world of life and the school spaces of students. To achieve the purpose, a qualitative research method with mixed information collection was available. In this way the phenomenological and hermeneutic approach was used due to the sensitivity of the relationships that are obvious in the bio psychosocial tissue between the world of life and school spaces, displaying the interpretative possibilities of multimodal texts as a tool to generate and promote significant experiences in the learning process. With the initial data, an intervention strategy was designed not only for students, but also for their parents and / or caregivers, in such a way that the path to be followed will be linked to their human, social and cultural context.
