Resumen

Descripción

The narrative and poetics of César Vallejo frequently appeals to a symbology that evokes the gospels as a resource for the realization of a political theology that understands Christianity as a social congregation, but also as cultural resistance and as a poetic way of knowing and feeling the problems of an era, human misery, oppression, and pain in the face of redemption. The social novel Tungsten is an example of the political resignification of Christianity through the profane reconstruction of sacred history, in political violence, in the material conditions of life and oppression under the influence of mining extraction capitalism. © 2024 Universidad EAFIT.
