Resumen
The present study was carried out in the educational context of the Federico Ángel Institution of the municipality of Caldas Antioquia, with 14 students of the seventh grade who presented difficulties in learning mathematical concepts, interested directly in the project. He focused on the school treatment of numerical thinking and focused on the socio-epistemological theory of educational mathematics complemented with theories on communication, new technologies, significant experiences in the field of education to bring the school station on the dial 105.4 in the FM and the institutional website and online http://iefangel.org/radio/, a didactic resource offered by Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) for the improvement of teaching. Socioepistemology proposes a radical change in the School Mathematical Discourse (dME) through the use of the notion of "nesting practices" for the construction of the numerical, allows the problematization of mathematical knowledge by putting into context the contents of numerical thinking in the problem solving of everyday life. Through the broadcast of radio programs and other practical exercises in the classroom, the communicative process was improved that facilitated in the students the leveling, feedback, acquisition of mathematical lexicon and strengthening of the learning process.
