Entrepreneurship education is key for institutions to train agents of change with the skills to innovate, identify opportunities and generate economic, social, cultural and environmental impact in a dynamic global environment, while at the same time defining an institutional culture towards entrepreneurship. Despite the relevance of this topic, little is done in educational institutions and there is limited research in early stages, particularly in primary school. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to identify tools and strategies for entrepreneurship education in a 4th grade primary school class, as well as strategies for fostering a culture of entrepreneurship that systematically promotes entrepreneurship. Through an exploratory and descriptive qualitative single case study, the study shows that fourth grade students develop key entrepreneurial skills such as creativity, initiative, planning, management, social responsibility, teamwork, adaptability and self-confidence. Furthermore, the study indicates that these entrepreneurship education practices and strategies define and strengthen the institutional culture towards entrepreneurship. The study contributes to the scientific debate on entrepreneurship education and culture by focusing on primary school students in the context of an emerging economy such as Colombia.eng
