Resumen
This article comes from the research The route of the tequeño, integration and consumption of the Venezuelan population to the city of Bogotá financed by Universidad Central. The purpose of the article is to show how the consumption of typical Venezuelan food contributes, through nostalgia, to the construction of exchange networks between migrants and the integration of this population into the city. This study was developed by applying a netnographic methodology, that is, it was done from the perspective of digital ethnography, observing different profiles of Facebook groups managed by Venezuelan migrants and speaking with a focus group of Venezuelans residents in Bogotá. The work made it possible to recognize the exchange networks that are built around the food of migrants and made it possible to situate consumption as a social process that contributes positively to the integration of migrants into urban life.
