Resumen
"In this work the it is addressed the constructions and the mechanics that build the primary fourth grade students, to focus to the notion of addition of fractions, are base on the cognitive theory APOE (Actions, Processes, Objects and Schemes) created by Dubinsky and developed along with the (the (Mathematics Education Community Research) (RUMEC for its acronym in English). Based on this Theory and the reflexive abstraction proposed by Piaget ""to describe the development of logical thinking in children and extends the idea to more advanced mathematical notions"" "" (Dubinsky, 1991 cited by Roa-Fuentes, S and Oktaç, A, 2010). A hypothetical genetic decomposition (DGH) was proposed on the notion of rationales addition, with the aim of identifying the cognitive path that students construct for acquiring an object. The application of the DGH is focused on the manipulation of concrete objects, which allowed to observe the learning process and some of the mistakes that children make when interacting with the fraction and its addition. In order to validate the DGH an interview was formulated taking into account the research cycle proposed by the APOE theory. Based on the above, the analysis of the interview was done through a case study, which provided the necessary evidence to establish that through the Actions applied on specific concrete objects it is possible to acquire the object of notion of addition of fractions.
